Francis E. Clark (1851-1927), father of the Christian Endeavor Movement, was among the most influential Protestant Christian leaders in the world during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when Christian Endeavor was a vast interdenominational network dedicated to Christian Education and missionary training that spanned the globe. In 1900, Clark visited Japan and China and then traveled to London to attend the World Christian Endeavor Convention, traversing the Eurasian Continent on the newly opened Trans-Siberian Railroad, with many layovers along the way to visit local villages and people. This fascinating travelogue tells the story of his 6 months exploring Siberia. A 1st Edition hardback in very good condition with tight binding and clean unmarked pages. There is remarkably little wear! Smoke-free home. See all photos carefully to judge the condition.
